If dark, moody, and quirky were a real place, Wild Pine Coffee & Cocktails would definitely be the physical representation of all three.
Located in Peoria, Arizona, Wild Pine is where Dark Academia meets alien chic. Imagine walking into a space with an alien mural on one wall, antique furniture for seating, neon signs scattered about, and a cozy book nook tucked into a corner.
To say this coffee shop has a unique style would be an understatement!
A Little Quirky, A Little Cozy
The coffee shop offered a variety of drinks and nibbles to choose from, including a fall specialty menu featuring some unique creations.
I ordered the Gilmore Girls Chai Latte, while Mommy chose the Joe Dirt Dirty Chai. We also ordered a bruschetta board to share.
Chai, Chatter & a Little Disappointment
The Gilmore Girls Chai Latte was made with smoked maple vanilla and banana cold foam. Mommy and I both thought it was wonderfully fragrant and absolutely delicious. It was definitely my kind of drink!
Mommy, on the other hand, wasn’t impressed with her selection. She’s a bit of a coffee and tea connoisseur and can be pretty particular about her drinks.
Unfortunately, the Joe Dirt Dirty Chai left a lot to be desired.
I took a small sip and wasn’t a fan either. However, since I’m not really into espresso or coffee, I’m probably not the best judge of whether it was good or not.
A Tasty Little Bite
On a positive note, we both enjoyed the bruschetta board. It was a nice, light afternoon snack, and all three combinations were tasty.

Final Thoughts
Overall, our visit to Wild Pine Coffee & Cocktails was relaxing and memorable.
I especially enjoyed the décor and quirky atmosphere. I would definitely return to soak up the ambiance and try another specialty drink from the menu.
And who knows? Maybe Mommy will find a drink she enjoys just as much as I enjoyed my Gilmore Girls Chai Latte!
